We Are Recruiting….

Summer is now over and our retreat last weekend was a fabulous way to close off our summer season.


And just in time really as the temperature has dropped here this week and we have already had the first flutters of snowflakes up on the higher parts.


When we see snowflakes on the forecasts and indeed on the mountain tops, we can’t help get just a little bit excited for the start of the winter season.

We are of course now well into recruitment mode as we are on the hunt for our new members of staff this season. Last years staff did a fantastic job, although we would have loved them to return, they are concentrating on their careers after Morzine. We have had a high standard of CV’s come though already and have started interviews already, we are excited about a few candidates and feel very confident in maintaining the high standard that we expect from our staff at The Works.

We are looking for:


2 people, preferably a couple (but not essential) to run our amazing chalet in its second season.

Our preferred candidates will be young professionals taking a year out or two out having studied university or further education and having a gap season before focusing on their real life careers!

Ba Hons not essential but desirable.
A Levels,
Studies A Levels or have NVQs in chosen subject.

Experience in Hospitality and Catering are advantageous but not essential.

You just have to have an eye for the kitchen and willing to cook dinner parties daily while entertaining guests.

Staff will need to have a great personality, easy going, friendly, attentive to our guests, polite, and always greeting with a smile.

We are passionate about our habitat and our preferred candidates will be also. You guys are going to be the face of our company, You will be the people who will be remembered by our guests and ultimately determine whether they have a good holiday or a great holiday!

Daily routines will consist of serving breakfast, shuttle runs to and from the slopes, cleaning, prepping and baking cakes for afternoon tea, prepping and cooking and serving 4 course meals to our guests all while entertaining them and ensuring they have a great time.

You will need to be enthusiastic towards how their day has been, Engage with the guests and be as excited as they are.

Successful candidates will be offered competitive packages which will include flights to and from UK, free accommodation, basic salary, season lift pass.

You both need to hold a full clean UK Driving License.
